Looks like my trade-in just got sold. If you bought it, I have a key to the tailgate lock that you might want. PM me.

Why did you trade in a 2019 already?

Guessing he needed to do stuff in the OR that the Sport wasn't in to.

Take the key to the dealer and they will forward it to the new owner.

Doubtful. They will probably just throw it in the trash.

OP: what factory equipment did your 2019 Sport have, and how much did the dealer give you for it?

I wanted more power and less vibrations. I found the inability to climb any sort of grade without transmission downshifts to be very annoying, as was the sound of the engine revving at 4000 rpm just to keep momentum. I also didn't care for the buzzing from the motor at 1800-2100rpm. A more thorough test drive would have probably saved me some dough. But then again, dealers weren't discounting the Denali's as steeply back in February, either, so I think it came out a wash or I ate a grand or two.

If I'm going to get 17mpg, I'm going to do it in a 6.2L Denali that barely breaks a sweat going up the Grapevine.

It had just about every option available. 4WD, DCLB, PQ (leather, heated seats, sunroof), tech package. MSRP was $42.7K. I'd prefer not to say what I got for it, partially because it's not really relevant since you never really know what the value is on a vehicle that's traded in on another. The two figures are married to each other and could easily go up or down in relation to each other depending on the dealer's accounting desires.

Thank you. I like it a lot. It's a monster. Although I do miss some of the safety features, keyless start and 120V in the bed of the truck that the Toyota had. But this new 6.2 actually gets better mileage by 2-3mpg and that's a plus considering the additional power it also gives me.

Good looking truck. A friend of mine has one that has proven well, although he gets sub 15 mpg in his. Then again, a lot has to do with how hard your foot is in the throttle. If you don't mind me asking, how much were you able to get the Denali out the door for with the discounts?

This is a new 2018 that was discounted $15K off MSRP of $66K. There was a dealer in Kansas City discounting them $17K if you qualified for a GM lease loyalty rebate.

At least it's got the square GMC grille. The bow tie on the sister brand looks dumb. Happy motoring!
