Rain started in spring of 2017 and was falling in record amounts by October of 2017. For 17 straight months we broke existing records for accumulation.

During that spell, we are over 31" over average.

2018 was more than double our average.

Winnipeg Floodway was built to handle a 1 in 1000 year floods. We’ve had 2 in recent memory & I’m not anywhere near 100 years old. All the major water flow up North goes through this city. One of these days it’s gonna be too much for it to handle.

New Homer Taco Raptor grill... I LOVE the 2011 oem grill. One of a kind....one year only... It needs paint repair. So this one for the time being. TOYOTA doesn't show unless ideal conditions. Gotta way to change that....20190621_122802.jpg 20190621_122742.jpg

I'm an asshole parker today too...

First try will use graphite grey carbon fiber wrap. (On letters only) If that doesn't trip my trigger, air brush 'n paint.

Object is to see but not " light up " .

So much for plans. WAS going to nose truck into garage and do wrap on grill letters...and buff headlight lens..

It's raining too hard to get to the garage without drowning.

Last house had attached garage. Want no part of that again. (Paint/welding smells got in house...wife got into garage too easily)

    Power just went out.

    So. Porch w/dogs.

Sounds peaceful, assuming the dogs are good with heavy rain.

They just don't build shit like they used to....

Serpentine belt has 183,9?? miles, and is starting to make a squeeling noise on cold start up...

I hate to give up on it too soon...

Is that really an indication? Every Corolla I ever had ('78, '83, '90, '04) always suffered squeaky belts. Nothing wrong with them - just squeaky when it was cold or wet.

Has it (ahem) been raining much lately?

Then again, I supposed manufacturer suggested replacement is every 36K or so...

I spend too much time on trails that don't have parts stores..... Not willing to chance it much longer.

The old belt was on It's last leg.. Edges were frayed. Several cracks... New belt is quieter.
