So new symptoms post collision, occasionally when turning on/off the headlights the truck totally looses power (needles fall to the off position, clock goes to 1, radio turns off, odometer doesn’t show anything), it cycles back really fast but still. Auto body is saying I’m on the hook for diagnostics then their insurance pays for the fix. Any ideas?

I really hate chasing electric gremlins.

Edit: forgot this morning parked the car and no power locks (key fob didn’t do shit, power lock button didn’t do shit, manually turning a key only did the individual lock) truck started right up though and then acted like normal

Was the truck running like crap and hard to start when warm, etc? If you need all new injectors I feel like you'd notice something was up. I'd want either a detailed explanation from the dealer other than 'you need new injectors' or a 2nd opinion on that

Its a tool that will help you correctly set the tension of the belt. You just need to figure out how much tension to put on it, then use the tool to dial it in.

Yeah I don’t think they were saying the injectors were bad I think they’re saying they were aftermarket and they needed to be stock so it wouldn’t run rich but I thought they are already stock

Also it isn’t running bad and it starts normal it is just a horrible sound so I stopped driving it and then when I took it to the dealer I didn’t even go near any boost

Well if you're intent on just going back to stock you shouldn't have any trouble selling the supercharger as-is if it only needs a nose cone rebuild, pretty common to have to do that anyway when buying them used

I think that's why most people get the ARB lol

Not the best looking bumper but far from the worst, and they're always in stock and ready to ship.

I'm talking about the extra 700 for an ARB over a Spartan locker for the front diff but yeah

I built my own front bumper :)

I could dip into my trailer budget to make it happen. I'm thinking I'll get the ARB twin compressor either way.

Spent about an hour airing up mine and the blue 4runners tires on Saturday in 45 deg rain and it wasn't great

Lol yeah even with my newer Viair 300p it takes me a good 20 min to get my 33s from 15psi to 32 psi.
Then of course one or two others don't bring compressors and you gotta wait around while they borrow yours

    Is that the portable one?

I have the little Masterflow which was great with 31s but on 35s it takes about 10 min per tire to go from 10 to 35 psi. My friend has 2(!!) Power tanks but she didn't have them filled before the trip so it was all up to my lil compressor

Yeah the 300p hooks directly to the battery terminals...you're not using a 12v one are you?

It does hook directly to the battery but it's probably pretty low CFM and its endured years of filling tires in the dirt lol

After wheeling with someone who had the ARB twin I was ruined. I think I had a tire filled before he came over and started filling the other 3 as he was already done.

I have everything but the tank for my own DIY power tank setup so I should probably stop being lazy and just do that
