Anybody know anybody with a first gen they want to build? I found them an awesome deal.

Know a guy with a whole pile of parts he wants to sell as a whole. All brand new never installed.

Are you going to put an RTT on it, or is your super tent going to connect to it??

 

What are you going to do without all your spares???

 

Neither. The ARB awning is 8' by 8' and I have a fully enclosed room that attaches to it. Going to use that when I'm using the trailer.

 

Have you or Zack weighed the trailer yet? I'm pretty curious what the dry weight is.

 

No. It doesn't fit on my bathroom scale.

I can easily lift the tongue and move it with one hand though.

Dry weight is probably in the realm of 700. About 500 is steel, the rest is the axle, leaf springs, and tires.

 

Well balanced then. If you get the chance you should take it by a truck stop and put it on the scale. Should be less than $20 to weigh it.

 

As stout as it looked when I saw it, I wouldn't be surprised if it topped well over 1K.

 

You said it was for a first gen. That list is just about all you need to keep your truck going for the foreseeable future...

 

$2200 worth of spare parts? No thanks. Haha.

If he does decide to separate I'd like the UCAs and front locker

 

I'll claim the skid if he parts!
