skid plate removal to change oil ?

    Do you have to remove the skid plate On the 2010 4x4 4cyl. to remove the oil filter? Seems if you don't oil would end up all over the skid plate.

    no, reach in through the bottom on the passanger side.

    Well at least for a prerunner thats how it is i dont see why they would chagne the filter location on the 4x4

    oh and i forgot to say that i just have the shitty black "skid" plate thats standard

    I have both skids...oem black & TRD. Neither interfere with changing oil on the 4 cyl.
