Finally got around to installing this. Definitely the way it should have came from the factory considering it’s literally the only thing that requires the key.

Nice, they’re a bitch to install though. Like the proverbial stuffing 10lbs into a 5lb sock! They do look factory once you’re done.

.65 cents! That will give me 30 mins for the parking meters here in LA.

I sold mine on craigslist for $120. Only had 10k miles. Took a while to sell it.

Picked up hitch rack today and installed it. Waiting for the weather to be a little cooler in the morning to take the dogs mushing.

I’ve had to hold off on installing certain mods until I found a pnp solution. But it’s worked out so far… Had my cap on for 6 months w/ the 3rd brake not installed until Meso’s total tail s2 came out and I tapped into that instead. I probably won’t be able to keep up with it forever but it’s my 1st new so as long as I can I will. It’s hard to find and source m/f connectors (or I’m just not searching with the correct terminology)

Unfortunately I can’t say it’s a virgin to cutting/splicing though. The dealer or port installed the 2n1 led fog/drl upgrade and when I replaced them they had 2 vampire clamps that severed several strands each. I put liquid tape over for now until I can repair them.

The headrest is easiest with it in the seats. Also, some say it’s easiest with the seats out, but I thought it was easier leaving the seats in because you’ll need leverage. Careful not to tear the fabric holding the strings on.

Did you paint it? About to paint mine but unsure of which primer will fully stick to the stock coating before adding bed spray.
