I'm just venting. Just got off of work. It was dark and while I was moving out of the parking lot, I scraped the front of my truck. Instead of backing out I went forward and hit the metal rod that I forgot about. I'm just f***ing stupid sometimes.

That looks like it can mostly be buffed out and a little touch up paint and be good as new

A body shop can fix that for around 500. Had someone scrape the whole passenger side bumper in a hit and run and that’s how much it cost me. It was around 550. I didn’t use insurance for it cause it was the same as my deductible.

Clean up the area and use touch up paint from dealer. It’ll just get scratched again.

And you can say “fuck” here

    This too

It's the front bumper. Sooner or later it will be pitted and the paint will be damaged due to road debris and but guts. I say fix it as best as you can DIY and call it a day

I don't really want to have to pay a shop to fix it, but then a steel bumper = new suspension = new tires = new wheels = me being in more debt. That's how I see it at least.

I'd feel a little better if the damage happened while I was out on a trail, but I haven't even been out on one yet. I still need to go and get off pavement.

The first cut is the deepest, after a few you stop noticing them. Seriously, it’s a truck, it’s should have a few blemishes.

I have one thanks, but I've always wondered does the tip of of this pen do anything? I initially thought it was like a brush, but there's already one inside the bottle.
