Ok I need some help so I am asking all around :D Motor shipped Wednesday but the engine builder just called and said he has cams he's been developing for 2 years done and wants me to throw them in the motor. I'm talking like big upgrades when the turbos spool. Do I tell him send the motor back to him where he'll pay to ship it back to the shop and install the cams and all I have to do is wait a couple more weeks?

If you’re certain they won’t cause damage, issues, then you should wait and do it once.

Well I am going to put my foot down and decide to not get the cams. I got to know when enough is enough and not keep spending money on the motor. Next step is going to be the trans and the suspension so I'd rather not keep throwing money at the motor.

I've wanted to build an EB F150 for a long time. Then I went and bought a racecar. Such is life :notsure:

I have to say this has been an experience but I'm glad it turned out the way it did. The car I was going to buy before the Tacoma was a Fors Taurus SHO. Which had the 3.5 ecoboost and was researching parts to put on it. I'm super glad I got the Tacoma because I found this place and can post my build thread here and not be beat up to bad :anonymous:

Also pics of said racecar :boink:

Lol my mom has a Taurus SHO and it's a great car! Not nearly as comfortable to drige as an F-150 though...
