Most people won't pay to fix the stupid sensors when they get old.. some people never put them into their new rims.

I just wish it would display the PSI so I knew which tire was low. Is there a way to delete it with a program? That and the seat belt chime. I wear it 50% of the time. But when spotting on the back roads the damn seat belt chimes goes off every time I set the e-brake. ANNOYING!!

    I guess we're doing this... I'm a 2009 and just below 70k. Bought in December 2016 with 26k.

Black tape, remove the bulb, or make an airtight canister outa PVC and stick the sensors in it and charge the canister to the proper psi.

Nobody care that i'm a '12 with 98K but I'm going to post anyway.

I am hoping it can be deleted to be honest. I don't care to remove the cluster just to remove an annoying light. I have a constant battle between OCD and laziness. This time laziness prevails.

Get me a wiring diagram, I'll find it.

You could always turn up the radio :notsure: that's what I do for annoying things either coming from outside the truck or in the passenger seat...

It is more about I'm looking at deer I want to hunt and don't want the damn beeping constantly. While driving it goes off once, radio is full blast for that minute of the commute. I could kill whoever decided that the annoying tone needed to be twice as fast for the last 30 seconds!!

Work is 60 miles away typically... drove 34k last year.

    It's why I don't have a Tacoma anymore.

It also might be more of a specific issue to MT. I don't turn the truck off, but put it in neutral and set parking brake. Setting the parking brake causes it to think you parked. I found that sensor out after 3 days of fighting the VSC calibration. MT VSC can only be calibrated with the e-brake or parking brake set I found out. The difference between me and the tech parking the truck. I use the parking brake every time to keep it from freezing up.

Yours beeps? That sucks. Mine doesn't beep. Maybe that was another change for gen 2.5

I'll look at these at work later.

The only annoying noises coming from those seats was that one and only time I had someone back there. :anonymous::rofl::rofl: jk

You win, @Nimble9 I was hoping to be the winner at 204K on my 2003. But I definitely win the rustiest truck award hands down.

That was her... my first baby. Sold her off to have some liquid cash in the bank when I started my business to buffer us through was would likely be a bumpy ride financially. It was for the best, but I miss her. Friggin fast. My late buddy and his son swapped in a JDM '97 turbo engine I imported. Taught me about wrenchin' cars in the process and now that my buddy is no longer with us I have good nostalgia doing most of my own work remembering the good times we had with this MR2.

My seat belt beeps yes, but my 05 did as well. It is really annoying. The light is annoying because it comes on every two weeks. I have a slow leak that I don't care to fix at the moment so I leave it to know when I get that low. But when I get new tires, I will replace the cores and hopefully the slow leak. TPMS light doesn't beep though or it would've been gone long ago.

Yeah me too - I ended up buying 2 different tools to get the new sensors activated and recognized when I put new wheels on my wife's car. Subaru's are a pain you actually have to upload all TPMS id's to the ECU for them to work.

I thought we were talking about the low tire pressure light. My seatbelt beeps for like 15 seconds when I first start the truck and drive above 10mph. Or if i leave the truck running, exit the truck. Then get back in and hit 10mph, like on the trails.

I was being a smartass about turning up the radio to cover up annoying sounds.

I have to fasten my passenger seatbelt because I've got a pile of recovery gear on it.
