that's a nice looking unit. Tents have evolved greatly since I first purchased mine. I've had my CVT standard style tent for 4 years now and have used it nearly 20 nights a year on average. Last year was a big year at nearly 30. The wife doesn't sleep all that well most of the time, but she sleeps like a rock parked in the secluded and quiet woods.

You are right to be pumped.

Anyone know of locking brackets that will work with an FSR tent? Asking for a buddy of mine.

Was actually just reading up on these. This might be his best bet.

This was definitely the fall back if there wasn't an adequate mounting solution available.

Hey questions. Sorry if it was brought up before. I have a 2014 Tacoma sport. Two inch Leveling The rear and max trax in the front. Could I put a RTT with this suspension. I don’t plan on doing heavy off roading trails.

Is that the high country? Cover looks different than mine, and I'm not a fan of my cover...might be time for a replacement :spy:. Can you send some more pics of it?

You could put it on with stock suspension. It'll eventually sag in the rear but then just add an AAL.

Put my RTT on today. Question for y’all- how far away do you have your RTT from the rear of the cab? I set mine about 3.5” away. Should I back it up more? Maybe another 2-3”?

    Yeah.
I have mine about the same, maybe a little closer. On mine the cover bulges out a little due to the tent fabric, and the cover has maybe an inch between it and the cab.

Whatever works for you and long as you can get your hands around to get work the cover/zipper. Mine's only a couple inches away, but my tent is longer to the point that if it were any further from the cab it would extend beyond the tailgate. Getting my hand in there is a struggle but it's doable.
