winch maintenance: unspooled all of the synthetic line, washed in bucket with a bit of mild soap. took apart my factor 55 fairlead and flatlink shackle. cleaned, installed their rope guard, sanded and dremeled the significant rust off of the metal liner ring at the end of the winch line and repainted it with PO-15 (the best rust rust inhibiting paint money can but).

don't forget to give your synthetic winch lines some love once in a while. as a former climber, I can tell you washing the dirt and grit out of ropes will make them last twice as long.

Just type in Tacoma off-road wheel decals and they should come up

 

I think it would look really clean with them continuing up onto the shell. IMO it would look a lot more fluid as there wouldn't be a break in the decal.

That is what has me going for the all the way up look. That break in the decal bothers me. I just wonder what that would look like when I finish the build. Top rack , rear bumper , sliders etcccc... would it be too much ??

I get a head shake too whenever I get a new patch. I always tell her "at least I put them inside the shell." One of these days I'll freak her out and move them all to the headliner in the front cab. BTW, diggin' the bedside vinyl! From what I've seen here, @CBoy808 does nothing but quality work! If I ever need something custom done I'll definitely have him do it!

 

I would say he sold out since I put that link up. I was tempted to buy one myself when I saw that.

 

I love Duragloss Aquawax but I'm diggin this Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash just the same. I mixed up a gallon, (3 oz. to a gallon of distilled water) and I'm using it as a drying aid.
