Just saying Hi. Originally from PA(Gowen City). Currently stationed in Groton, CT but moving home when I get out of the Navy in 5 months. Picked up my first tacoma back in January. 2002 TRD off-road with 108k miles. Had an 82 pickup 12 years ago, motor/trans/axles are now in a samurai. Also have a jeep I built for my wife. Mainly wheel in the Gowen City/Trevorton area. Occasionally go to Rausch Creek. Few pics.

I tossed mine a a year ago.

 

Mine beeps, for 15-30 seconds and then twice as fast for another 15-30 seconds. It is the most annoying thing about the truck. Mine doesn't come on until 25 mph, so wheeling would be an issue I don't think, but spotting it comes on every time I stop to get the binos up.

I wasn't kidding, I turn the volume up full blast until it is done. I am also damn near deaf so it is really turning it up the last 10%. Certain frequencies I don't even hear. That one though has to be researched as the most annoying pitch or tone.

If it is a new sound I investigate, but something recurring like this gets the radio treatment!

Regarding the weed problem. I have not used the solution, but have thought and read about it many times. I would say the salt is the key, as some of my herbicides use salt in a similar way. Weedeating is not the best of ideas unless you wait a few days or a week. Then it can be beneficial. When you weedeat it places the plant in shock, and it won't absorb as much. Giving it a couple days to heal has worked better for me. Weedeating does get the spray down to the base of the plant, maybe it matters with this solution. I weed eat with round up because it is contact herbicide. There is no residual with it either. Crop oil is also a good idea is this work by contact because it will make it stick to the leaves and stems.

The last thing is to consider long term. If you want it gone for good you need a pre-emergent herbicide and also know what species your dealing with. 2-4 D is an herbicide that kills everything but grass. It also has a 2 week residual per treatment.

Anyone work or know a tech that works at a local dealer (Bucks County)? I'm installing the trd supercharger on my truck this weekend but the few dealers I called wont flash my ECU with the TRD calibration.

 

Pretty sure Thompson Toyota in Doylestown will do that. They used to be the go-to for supercharger installs in the area

My boss is an absolute fucking idiot blew a yeild sign and almost collided with a cop. I was yelling at him it's a fucking yeild sign and still proceeded to blow it.. now we are pulled over fucking genius
