Yea that's what I'm leaning towards. I can do all of the work, but the bleeding is a pain and I can't do the abs bleeding. I also want someone else to adjust my drums/ebrake because I have never quite got it right.

I have 4 Tacoma 16 hole steelies. Are they worth anything?
I was about to toss them on CL and try to get $100 for the set.

If I were selling, I would be happy with anything over $80 for the set

Will they fit a 2nd gen? If so, our shop porter is looking for something like that for his 2015. How much are you wanting for them?

According to Amazon, they DO fit 2nd and 3rd gens both. Let me know how much and I'll pass the word on to him. He's in his mid 60's so I don't know how much he is looking to spend, but I told him I would keep an eye out for some

    A thing or two...
Sounds kind of like when I did the 4runner brake upgrade on mine. I adjusted the drums and rebled the brakes. I haven't had any problems since.

The FSM drum adjustment is way easier than all the bullshit you see on YouTube or read on hear about adjusting the drums. Adjust them until the wheel locks and then back the adjuster off 15 clicks.

What about High-Tech in Chantilly? I've only used them for alignment so I can't really vouch for them but see they've gotten great reviews...my two pennies

Edit: didn't see the previous post regarding, sorry!

Do they do good alignment work? I love radial but it's so far. @crashdb and I are gonna replace my master and bleed the system on Sunday and see if we can get it straightened out before I go to a shop.

I don't, but is it something you could use a strap and come-along to winch it up the ramp onto the trailer? Or swing by whereever the day laborers hang out and grab one for a quick job.

Dont forget a long clear tube from the bleed valve to the master cylinder will save on lost brake fluid plus you can inspect it for bubbles. I think I used fish tank air tubing from Walmart. Also saves you from opening and closing the bleed valve or having to pump the brakes.

We're probably going to use one of the air bleeders I have. No pumping required. If we run low, I have an unopened liter in the garage from my last adventure. At the very least we can get the master cylinder in and get the brakes mostly bled. I have a scan tool that cycles the ABS pump, but it doesn't do it continuously. So that may be the whole problem with bleeding these dealios. I can at least get it drivable.

Hopefully this will do the trick. Its driveable at the moment, but im not happy with it and im stressing that failure is imminent. I may not even need a new master but screw it, it cant hurt. Not trying to lose my brakes in Moab going down the switchbacks in Canyonlands to Schafer Trail.

And since i mentioned that, here is what happens if you are an idiot on that trail. For everyones entertainment:
