The keyless system tacoma has is over 10 years old now, a teenager can hack it with ease, that’s how bad system is.

Nonetheless, it’s also easy to hot wire trucks with keys, so 2nd gens aren’t immune or MT TuRds, but nobody will want 2nd gens when there are better options available

Sure, are you planning on getting sso bumper with stage 2 kit? If not we can just order everything from mobtown, he builds those lower bumpers too.

shit now i gotta take a look at that and see if i like it.

of the low-pros i've seen, i do like the idea of it being a hybrid and can add on the the 2nd stage without ordering in an entire new piece.

 

Yeah, but he doesn’t make stage 2, so fit isn’t guaranteed with his bumper. I do like SSO stage 2 and if we go that route will be getting stage 2 with the bumper.

But on the other side Mobtown products are the best, so I wouldn’t mind having his bumper either...

 

my issue with mobtown atm is i don't see much in terms of specs on the bumper, i'm assuming it's built the same as the others with 3/16' plate steel. also photos - i can't seem to find any outside of their store page.

but otherwise, i 100% know that want the sliders from them. so i can get more info on it, i might be totally fine with getting it over the SSO just to save a few bucks on shipping

Also how does the group buy system work anyways? would we ping one of the guys from mobtown/ sso here on TW?

 

No idea about it, but I had front hitch he made, it’s a solid product and @llamasmurf got to enjoy it too.


We can talk to them here via PMs or email, we would need at least 5 people to see if there is any discount on products.

Even without discount we can save a lot by shipping all things to @Steves104x4 and picking it up after, he is right across Niagara Falls.

Works too. Can be right beside the truck and it won't unlock the doors pressing the button through the case.

At least for when at home keep the key in there so it isn't cloned... Hopefully
