The 44044’s in front will cycle 12” on the trail and I’ve had the axle walk out in front of the truck at full droop when it finds some traction on the drooped corner. Thinking straps will help keep things where they belong and keep from bending a shock shaft when the axle walks forward

Did this as well with my 44044s. One mount for the strap is on the frame, the other is welded on the u bolt plate, didtn use the tensioner/adjuster clevis on one end like alot of guys do. Just not alot of room or good mounting spots.

Used 12" length and the double shear tabs as a FYI.

Leafs sure can make some funny shapes and bounce back :anonymous:

That's exactly how I am doing mine too. Space got really tight really fast where it wouldn't get pinched.

New hydro assist lines are made, installed and system bled. Bumps and limit straps are all in. All that’s left to do before leaving on vacation next week is to pack my shit and hit the road

You make the lines yourself, or drop some beers off for your shop guys?

I made them myself with the Eaton fittings and hose PSC sells. I’ve done crimp fittings from the shop before but I like the field serviceability with the Eaton fittings.

Yea those are nice, all my power steering lines are those. My hydro assist lines will probably be those. No option to have our shop guys make mine, as they are a bunch of whiney union douche bags, and me being a manager they would rat on me in a second.

Went on a weeklong wheeling trip through Harlan and Windrock last week with friends including @rngr and @Robertocritser...had a great time, even if it was a bit wet most of the week in Windrock.

Loaded up and ready to head out

Also it was a blast getting to experience a trip like this. There wasn't a big feeling of rush to do anything. Very relaxing and very needed.
