I bought chucks for my 48.. now no riding boots (yet) for the Triumph. Chucks are absolute trash and uncomfortable. But unemployment dictates my money at the moment

Try PF Flyers if you like the classic cap toe sneakers. They have way better (cushy) soles and arch support. Plus their rubber is made by BF Goodrich and it lasts way longer than Converse. I was a die hard Converse wearer for most of my teen years-early adulthood. Now that I'm older, I like comfort and no laces. Slip-on Vans and Crocs on the daily.

I was thinking about Alpinestars or Sidi Gas shoes. Im not knee down on the street, but want a little more protection than regular shoes. I also never plan on going to the track, so i dont want boots.

Slip ons are more cali style right?

I suppose. Vans is a SoCal original. I can see that they'd be useless shoes in parts of the country with actual weather. Although I did wear my slippys when I was in MA this past winter.

alright help me decide. i need to get rid of the huge rudder on the back of the bike now

    see here:

theres bikelitez which is really just a LED strip and pretty expensive imo ($170) for what it is but the only integrated:
    https://www.bikelitez.com/product_p/k690std.htm

R&G tail tidy $136. i dont think the round light flows very well:

or Sicass racing $127. uses the euro tail light and has the best finish look:

or use a drz DRC edge tail light apparently $50 (i was very happy with mine on my drz)

I always wear riding boots regardless, I like my feet and ankles. Most of my gear is Alpinestars - very happy with their quality and level of protection.

Never did the upgraded board when i had it on my drz but i think itll look nice on this bike. Too bad itll require a little custom mounting
