Buying a 2011 Tacoma DC LB

Ok, can anybody shine some light on me? I called somewhere in the ballpark of 15 dealerships in Northern California and nobody has my truck. The only tip one guy would give me is that there's not one within 258 miles of me. He said there was ONE in so cal, but I'd be willing to drive up to Oregon or down to So Cal for it.

2011 Tacoma Double Cab Long bed in White 4x2 (unless I find a smoking deal on a 4x4)
TRD Sport Package w/ JBL Audio (Extra Value Pckg) (without JBL is fine with me, too)

That's pretty much my criteria, but nobody has them. Willing to buy multiple burritos or food gift cards in lieu of finding said truck.

 

When i bought mine back in 09 i ordered one from the factory the way i wanted. plus i can say Toyota built it for me.

 

Honestly, since the 2011's are still hitting the floors, I would say to hold off before making a 5+hour trip for one...Plus the specials right now for buying a new one aren't that great.

 

Why not get an '10? Same thing and you may be able to get a discount.

From my understanding the only difference between the '10 and '11 is the grill is a different style of 'plastic'.

When do you think it'd be a better time? I'm trying to get rid of my 05 Frontier because my X-Runner was a better truck except for the plastic bed and plastic rail system

None of them had new 2010's either, but I would be open to it because I don't mind the grille

 

I have the 2011 DC LB TRD Sport 4x4. I thought they only offered the DC LB 4x2 in Pre-Runner versions (no TRD sport) but I may be mistaken. I don't think they'll deal too much, but good luck. The only difference between 2010 and 2011 is the hood, which I do say is a slight improvement. Even when I purchased mine 3 weeks ago, there were very few 2010 DC LBs to choose from. They do offer the 1.9% for the 2010 but I wanted Timberland Mica so paid a little more interest and took the first 2011 off their lot and haven't been disappointed at all. Hope you find the ride you're looking for!

 

I looked at the 10 & 11 yesterday and only noticed the new grill. Whats different about the hood?

and the LB comes in the TRD Sport, but not the Off Road. From what I've seen they have 4x4 and 4x2, but white is a pain to find!
