I also had issues with the leak at the join. I still think I do actually since it's louder than I think it should be.

Always wanted to pick up that shift knob. Cool mods man!

 

I don’t really want to say. Let’s just say I was floored but quote was in line with a 3rd party I had look at it.

 

It was definitely louder with the leak at the join. Kinda miss it now that its fixed, to be honest But, not having the smell of exhaust inside the cabin is a big plus

 

Replaced my passenger side belt buckle. Also did a zero point calibration and sensitivity check on the occupant detection system.
Now my seatbelt/airbag indicators on my hazard switch assembly work like they should.

 

Not a fan of the decal placement, but I do like the color of the Taco

 

any drone from the exhaust?

 

Oh boy here is the start of all the silly "response" team junk on Tacoma's. Just like jeeps always have the dumb "zombie response team"

 

Hwhipped up some basic but beefy hi lift mounts today out of some 1/8" bar stock and 1/2" bolts. Paint drying overnight and my large wing nuts will arrive tomorrow for it.

 

Ive got a silver bumper from at 06... I wouldnt ask cash, maybe a trade if it works?

No drone from what I can tell. Deeper octave in the sound. A little 'throatier' when hitting the accelerator.

 

How does that rack attatch to the bed?

 

Today’s lesson... don’t buy after market Ac lines.

After installing, removing, bending and reinstalling 3 times to get the flange to sit flush on the compressor now the rubber portion is 100% kinked.
