All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Got the Demello Hybrid sliders on the runner! Very nice.
@backcountryj check out what I am calling the “dragons foot” that you gave me! Can’t leave this behind.

Looking for a mom car for the wife...test drove an 07 GX470 today. What I’d do for that powertrain in my truck!

When I start making more money again, I think I'm doing one of those or a LC100 for that exact reason

She just got a job down at Hartsfield Jackson, so the (terrible) gas mileage is all that’s slowing down my impulse purchase

Don’t be that guy. Didn’t we just talk about hitting the trails and waisting gas!

Skip the GX. Same platform as the 4Runner, which could be good or could be not-so-good. We opted to bypass the GX because the 3rd row is laughable. Same as the 4Runner. No leg room and your head against the back glass.

We went with the Honda Odyssey because it made financial sense and we both hate it. Tonight, we are going to have a conversation about Sequoias. There are plenty of new 2018 models still on the lot. 3rd row has leg room and there is still enough room for a few reasonable size suitcases or duffel bags behind it. Gas mileage sucks, but it isn't a minivan.

Yeah, that don't seem right. Mine are in my engine bay on my Discovery II but, they have a lot more room to breathe.

    Same crap everyone else got
Ha, Evergreen, CO. I used to live there like 5 years ago. Lots of nice rigs up that way.
I feel like if he did in fact put $130k into it, it could have been spent better imo. Shoot, not even dual cases or any mention of drive train work except the gears and Currie 9in.

Yeah, I showed it to my GF to help prove that I don’t really have a Yota problem.. Or yoga problem for that matter lol!

That’s kinda what I was thinking... Even if there was 40k in the camper setup and 35k in the truck off the lot, where is the other 55k??? Maybe 25k in suspension, drivetrain, armor, lights, wheels, and tires... But I can’t see 55k. But who knows...

Edit - Just checked the Expedition Portal build thread... Buddy probably does have that much in thing! Talk about attention to detail!

    Check Out My Builds
There's a guy that's local to Woodstock that's built like that. I'll see if I can find a pic

That's actually pretty common on ridiculous rigs built like that

I'd go with a Sequoia, we had a 1st gen one growing up and it's amazing as a day to day SUV. My sister is currently driving it and it's running great. If I had to go with a SUV and needed 3 sets of seats it'd be one of these
