Another musician here, been playing guitar for over 20 years. Began writing and recording in the early 2000s and still dabble here and there when I have time.

My current go-to axe is a 1998 MIM Telecaster (bone stock) and a 1989 Alvarez "Midnight Special" acoustic.

I know what you mean about regretting the sale of guitars. I have fond memories of an old Peavey Raptor that is long-gone, and how comfortable it was to play.
I also miss my old Schecter C1+ Diamond Series because it had the most beautiful flamed maple top... it was like a 3D image.

Sometimes it's just better to hoard as many guitars as possible. :taco:

    Yes, I was.
I guess a simple “welcome to the thread” would’ve sufficed. LOL

Do basses count as guitars??? Because if so, add me to the "lounge".

Looks like Sweetwater picked up the Caparison models. Wtf is so special about a $4k guitar?

boutique-y not-quite-custom-shop-but-still-handmade appeal. plus, i think they're one of few brands that make multi-scale/ fanned-fret guitars at decent prices.

Everyone needs at least one semi-hollow body, right? That’s what I told my wife, anyway. At guitar center, looking for trouble again, when I spotted this on clearance. The last of the 2018 Ibanez Artcore AS73s. $279...Shut up, and take my money!

Surprisingly comfortable, great tone, and just sexy as hell.
