My wife has a theory that cars fix themselves so on her last cars, check engine, clunks, overheating... didn't matter, she would just tell me "its fine, it just needs a little time and it will fix itself!" :frusty: To be fair, with her new 4Runner, she said it is making some sounds after this weekend trip, I got under and a little rock got on top of the skid and was making the slightest rattle! Finally! I win! :bananadance:

Bad thing about these runners, leave them stockish, no weird sounds.
Soon as you start getting extreme with modding, couple wks later, start getting sounds from adjacent areas from it.

Seems like when I make a change, I'm chasing sounds.

I'm pretty sure we'll be headed over Mt. St. Helena to go to Calistoga for their little fair and fireworks show. We had a good time last year and it wasn't expensive

When I first got with she-who-must-not-be-named she took me for a spin in her 91 carolla wagon. She likes to take turns at high speeds... I asked what the loud banging was under the hood and she had no idea but that it had been doing it for a month or so. Next day I take a look and the battery is leaning on the engine, no tie downs.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Jen's work is now ZERO days accident free.

It's cleaned up now... but just so you know. You should hold a 9/16s box wrench in your hand... NOT with the open end IN the palm of your hand.

Just so if anyone is unclear of that proceedure.
