Truck randomly seems to lose power. So driving along turn on the headlights, truck goes dark (needles drop all the way, odometer doesn’t display anything, radio restarts), or go to start the truck turn and nothing, back to off and truck starts right up. Guessing a short/grounding issue, since it only happens when the electrical load increases.

Oh yeah, all this caused by a Tesla backing into my parked truck. Per Tyler that is a actually somewhat of an accomplishment.

I’ve got no idea. I know the torque converter is different.

was all the damage down low? its possible you have pinched wires somewhere if not.. i believe the wire harness for the fuse box runs under the core support (above the radiator).

Can you be a dear and take a picture of the front without the electronic actuator, I want to make sure the vacuum and electronic actuator tubes are the same.

So the hill was really steep, dude tried to parallel park but didn’t cut it right, thought he shifted out of reverse and punched it, thus while only a foot or two of distance had some noticeable damage, Tesla Model S P100D has some serious torque and weight (about 1,200 more pounds than the Tacoma)
