Anyone have a lead on a decent 1st Gen Tacoma for sale? Looking to buy something soon. Around 8-10k range, 4wd.

You guys have a shop you would recommend for installing a lift kit? Looking at Bilsteins 5100 with OME coils and aal for the back.

Any thoughts? I know of three spots in town that do this, but haven’t dealt with any of them. Wanted to see what you guys suggest.

    Thanks for your help.

    Crazy huh?

Here are a few pictures from my time working on the Rio Grande. It is insane how this river dries. It is honestly mind boggling the first time I went out and it was completely dry. I mean last year it dried the beginning of April! Usually doesn't happen till July. And the fact it does dry is crazy

    IMG_2807 2.jpg

About 10 feet deep dry here

Another good article: (especially since there is a picture of me :D )

Those picture are so sad. It's definitely improved this year, but it seems like we need a decade of this. Makes me rethink living here long term...

Yup. This year is amazing snow melt so hopefully it doesn’t dry. However, if does, then we have very poor water management. Certainly scary for people and the fish.

NM basically is screwed from the water compact between CO and TX and unless everyone wants to come to the table then nothing will change. Also flood irrigation is not a sustainable practice and the certain crops we grow - like alfalfa. Also pecan trees - a mature one takes in 150-250 gallons of water a DAY!

Hey who can help me out with diagnosing a winch problem? It is a Badlands 12k that worked to pull in about 4 foot and then stopped working.

Just wanted to extend the invite to anyone who is available on Sunday for a mod day in my spectacularly rocky back yard. Time is TBA, but I am sure @Taco505 will chime in with so more details. I have impacts, drills and most sockets, but all tools are welcome especially jacks since I only have a hi-lift. No job too big, just bring the amount of beer necessary to complete. Any unfinished vehicles are welcome to stay in my fenced in yard relatively safely.

Come over Sunday, I am sure a few heads multiplied by a few beers can solve all problems. Even our water problems in NM.
