Looking for a 2.5 inch lift or what's recommended.
Originally wanted to go with spacers but didn't hear muchgood things about them.
I understand the prices can be pretty high but wondering what people would recommend. Also wheels and tires will matter too but just wondering about lifts for now. Specifically 3 inch lifts. Please share links as well. Trying not to chop any of the truck too.

If you google anything and then "tacoma" there will always be Tacoma World threads at the top with a full list. It works really well for anything.

Did that already. Here for more opinions. Seems like I'm getting a lot of unhelpful and cocky people instead.

Get the shocks/coilovers and the leaf pack for your lift. If you dont want to chop the truck. Stick to a 265/75/16 or a 255/85/16
    If running 17's then 265/70/17 or 255/80/17
If on stock rim, you may need a wheel spacer on the 255 tire to clear the uca.

Thank you so much. Appreciate the feedback. Meant 2.5" but put 3" since people round it up. Totally agree with that. You have any links for those ?

All depends on the budget range. When it comes to a 2.5" lift for these trucks its the sweet spot. Now choosing the shocks and parts that you want to rep is where it comes down to the most. For a budget friendly yet capable kit, You'd most likely want to look at a Bilstein 5100 Kit that includes a coil of your choice which is most likely gonna be a OME 888. Of course you'd want to level it out in the rear so consider a AAL of your choice again. Example here for this kit would be @HeadStrong Off-Road who stocks a kit and you just choose the parts out of your choice. Finally when it comes down to the the truck riding great, a set of UCA's are gonna be crucial to get your numbers in a perfectly set zone. SPC so far are my go to for the pricing and its function. Ill have a link to a 5100 combo with spc uca up on my thread with a photo of the alignment sheet shortly.

Now heres where things can get crazy. Your choice shocks can be whatever you want. However, when going into the deeper end of things i will whole say from experience with installs . . . stick with King or ADS. Best ride and the installs go smooth. This is just speaking on the OEM Replacement side only.

If you have any questions regarding the stance or parts used in certain builds check out my thread of all the clients rigs. Sort of a sampling platter to get an idea.

Lol thanks for the information! My brain hurts a little haha. I know there are a lot of different combinations for sure. I've seen and heard King was a good brand. Here at home, they charge around $3k for the full kit. I'm trying not to go completely cheap but I'm also trying not to get more than what I'd need. Like you said, confusion on another level haha.

Tried to check out that Head Strong link but not much information. Couldn't really tell the pricing too because it said that the site wasnt accepting payments. I don't know a lot of those acronyms you put in there too. Are you suggesting to buy parts separately?

Forums are for information, not about asking everyone to do your research and make a decision for you.

There are way too many threads that start out “wah wah wah help me make up my mind”. Way too many snowflakes here.

It says the pricing right on that page in the link he provided. You choose the lift options, it shows the price. I suggest you read through this thread, lots of good info here. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...2016-tacoma-presented-by-toytec-lifts.395798/

Someone has nothing better to do lol. Did a lot of research. There are people that aren't familiar which is why questions are asked. If you aren't helping, why are you even here? Haha. Forums you can talk to people directly rather than watching a YouTube video or reading an article that states such and such is the best thing. Here people can show what they use, their set up, and post photos too.
