Hey mws4ua, have you seen the show on ESPNU called "Inside Training Camp: Alabama Crimson Tide" or something along those lines? I caught the last 30 minutes of it yesterday and it was pretty interesting. The kid that did the Nick Saban impression was hilarious lol

But now that you guy's have Turner Gill as a coach, a well known UNL alum and former coach, well maybe you can turn it around...

I'm not gonna lie I absolutely love the new hire. I think Turner Gill can get things turned around there in Lawrence. He did a pretty decent job at Buffalo bring them from the depths of college football to a league championship in a couple years. I will admit, NU is about the only other Big 12 team I can actually root for. Especially in the North!!!

 

Watched it last night while eating dinner w/ my family... Recorded it on the DVR so I can watch it again w/o distractions. The impression was spot-on, for sure. Watching that got me REALLY ready for the season...

I caught the exact same 30 minutes again last night when I got home from work, but I agree it got me pumped for football and I'm not even a big Alabama Fan...

Since you're a semi KU fan there's a past football player that was on the orange bowl team that is doing a documentary on the team during the preseason and it's pretty good. It's alot like HBO's Hard Knocks series and is really well done.

The original post was 99 days from next Thursday, but then the thread started counting down to the first Saturday.

Either way, college football is coming!

 

FSU should have a pretty good year this year baring any major injuries. I think you guys have a stud freshman linebacker coming in this year don't you?

I also noticed that FSU goes to Oklahoma on 9/11. That's going to be a pretty good game that's for sure.

You're O-line looks well established too....

 

I actually looked it up and it was Jeff Luc that I was thinking about.

That's a nasty schedule. And you have North Carolina to play as well. If FSU can come out of the schedule with 9 wins that'll be pretty impressive after a little bit of a down year last year if i remember right.
