Maybe 5hp....and some drone in the cab until forced induction is available probably best to utilize existing exhaust and put the money elsewhere.

They are expensive. But the only exhaust I've heard to sound good on a Tacoma.

"Worth" is the ear of the listener.

No other difference. If an in house cat back gave free HP every truck would have it.

Never forget, TRD is a label only. Nothing on a street Toyota was developed in their race program.

Compared to stock, it’s a little louder and maybe a little deeper with no drone.
    No perceptible difference in performance.

I just got a magnaflow on my TRD off-road. Cut it off right at the axle. Sounds perfect for me. Just my opinion. To each the own.

I highly recommend it, it's a nice stainless steel exhaust that will last forever, nice sound and looks great. Better if coupled with the TRD CAI.

Definitely worth the upgrade, it's nice and throaty with no drone.

Catbacks do nothing but make sound. But if you like the sound then go for it.

Depending on which Taco you have it may be annoying. I have a 15 DC Pro and pulled mine off and put on stock exhaust as the TRD had a serious drone at 3k or so which ended up being about cruising speed. Actually got worse when I put the shell on. I have heard that they don't seem to have this issue on the access cab Tacos. As to performance, no mileage change with or without the exhaust and I really didn't notice any performance difference either. Though I swapped it out at about 1200 miles. Bought a new stock cat back with under 1000 miles for $100 and sold my TRD for $250 (less the fancy tip from the Pro which stayed with my truck). For me, one of the best mods I have done to the truck...………...the Drone of the TRD was a PITA.

I recommend it. It has a nice deep tone that gives a feeling of more HP even though it doesn't. It causes NO drone on my '18 DCSB Sport. Looks nice and as has been mentioned is very heavy duty stainless steel construction that should last as long as your truck is in use. Only took me 45 minutes to install. Pricey, but worth it to me. If nothing else, you are paying for your first muffler/tailpipe replacement in advance.

Mine was Port installed on my truck when I got it. It sounds OK. Has a little drone and just a hair to loud for my taste since mines my DD. I can see how people like it though and if you're looking for just a little more bark I think it's a good option. Just don't think V6s sound good with exhaust.

The tip does look good (mines black) and it seems to be solid and well made.

Yes I realize this, what part? I’m in Ventura. I’m driving up towards Monterey this weekend. If you’re anywhere between here and there, I’ll stop by and let you hear the exhaust. I’ve got the trd intake and exhaust. Let me know..

I think it's only worth it if you like the sound of the exhaust and if you can get it cheaper than 300 bucks. I would not pay a penny over 300.

    Yeah.
I like it, but it came on my truck. But it made me do the TRD intake just to feel complete. I'd have a hard time just adding it unless my stock exhaust needed replacing, which I think it is a great option for.

I agree with you about the v6 sound, I would just like it to have a more push and a light sound
