I’ve used the liquid wrench version and it’s always worked in the past. Not sure what’s going on this time around.

 

Damn. They said that or tri-flo in the video. Maybe the aerosol can is the way to go? I’ve seen a lot more folks recommend the squeeze bottle, so that’s what I went with.

 

I used the tri-flow first as well, and it was ok...but one decently cold day and it ruined the bottle and made it more of a glue texture, never set in well. Saw that TC video when I rebuilt my UCAs and that stuff is amazing.

Yes, exhaust reroute sounds good! I've been looking at CBI skids too and I really like the design of them. Skids are going to pretty much cost about the same from any reputable shop. I'll look at the SOS ones too.

 

Eddy likes coming to Alabama parks too, or close by...so you can usually get a good TW express from SOS.

I've just seen lots of threads on here and complaints about "blah blah uniballs take maintenance"

like good grief, a little lube every now and then is not "maintenance", they work phenomenally, and provide amazing alignment capabilities without having to adjust them.

I rebuilt mine at about 55k miles because I had exploded the bushings being an incompetent fool, but the uniballs never any issue.

 

That reminds me, I need to buy a grease gun that isn’t a complete joke.

 

Yeah, @InfernoChalupa, what's up with the exhaust reroute group buy thingy? I'm ready! I've been calling around muffler shops around here and they all want me to bring in to see what's involved before they give me a quote.

 

definitely good to have. you've got TC right? make sure to always loosen that dang bolt before greasing lol. I had to replace a zerk too, again incompetency on my part....one of the zerks just like fell out at Moab.

 

Yep. Mine are TC. Last time I greased my bushings was when I installed them.... Shame on me I know. I blame not having a solid grease gun for my laziness.
