Only way to get one soon, yes. I called to order one because the Marlin site said “limited quantities”. One they said 12-16 weeks, I put up a WTB thread on here. Couldn’t believe someone had a new one to sell TBH.

At least Marlin isn’t taking payment until they’re ready to build the Taco boxes now.

I don’t know. That’s what I was told. Didn’t realize that’s not how it had been.

Can confirm what HHG said. I just called Marlin and added my name to the build list. They quoted me a price and said they'd call in 12 weeks when it's my turn and take payment at that time.

Your not the only one out cash and still waiting.

@tetten Did youi get your Tacobox yet?

Marlins had some great innovations but there supply chain issue is a joke. It's why I have a TG set-up and not Marlin.

Nope, judging by the post about the builder going on medical leave I don't believe I'll have it before Dusy in October. I've been "basically at the top of the list" since may 20.

I don't know about you being at the top of the list. A buddy ordered his at the end of February and he's still waiting.

I ordered January 13, I put quotes around it since that's what I was told when I called on May 20th for an update.:notsure:

Ok that's all I need to know. I'm calling tomorrow to cancel. This is straight up bullshit. I don't have all year to sit and wait around.

In the meantime might I make book suggestion (with a rather ironic cover illustration):

How are these clowns still in business? They seem never have anything in stock and never deliver when they say they will. I was going to order once they had the issues with the manual trans sorted out but at this point I'm not going to bother after seeing what everybody else is dealing with trying to get one.

It's a shame they can't figure out their supply chain, they have great products and are in high demand.

Cancelled my order. Now they have to send a check, which will take "2 weeks" (so I guess 2 months?)

Also, they didn't even bother asking why I cancelled, or attempt to retain my business. They don't seem to give one flying fuck about anything.

I'm sure they know why. I don't think they've given a F about growing their biz for a while.

I would have made $12.66 in interest off of the $2250 they've held from me for 3 months too.
