My new to me Tacoma has a homemade cols air intake. The filter box for the factory air filter is still there. I have not found one in a junk yard around here. Does anyone have the factory stuff from the airbox to the engine laying around ?

I suggest editing your thread title to something like "Need OEM Intake." And post it in the buy/sell/trade thread. Quite a few folks are like to have them laying around after installing a CAI.

If your in need of any of the 'plumbing' from the passenger inner fender area, let me know. Also, where are you located?

If I understand correctly that you have the factory air box still installed and all you need is the rubber air tube and other connecters... these are avilible from the dealer, a little pricey but in my experience using a used air tube, unless it is still pliable, causes issues. They can be difficult to get on where it needs to be and in struggling you just might cause a split in the expansion joint or worse, break something that is unobtainium.

I have a bottom half of an airbox that has a hole cut for the deck plate mod (deck plate removed) and has a crack in it. Free if you want it, I was going to throw it away. I can get a pic if you want, although Amazon sells replacemetns (entire airbox) for $72 or something.

Then edit your thread title, and add engine type. Look in the upper right corner for the edit button.

It says thread tools, that has a drop-down menu with edit title.

I guess I need to look under the hood of a stock one. All I may need is the flex hose.

I don't think it's a flex tube but rather a hard plastic elbow that comes out of the airbox and goes into the fender and connects to the factory cold air that's located inside the passenger fender well.

Is that what you're looking for it the entire airbox assembly?

The dealer is emailing me a breakdown and I'll compare it to what I have.

Well my local wrecking yard called me and one of their other locations just got in a 99 Tacoma. They are sending me all of it.
