Just wanted to let you guys know of a cleaner that cleans the plastic guage above the steering wheel and will not scratch the plastic. 5FD05E6C-02A4-4E5D-BD16-E56B11F229C5.jpg

I would also advise using the novus cleaning cloth. It comes with the kit or you can purchase a pack on ebay for like $5. The cloth with the cleaner will clean and not scratch the plastic.ACD3D783-2CC9-48F3-A51A-B4BBCBF1AB4D.jpg

That's a great idea! I have some which I used on the windshield of my Goldwing. It works very well.

Has anyone tried the Groits plastic scratch remover? Was thinking about trying it but don't want to make lens worse than it already is.

I purchased kit on Amazon. Use the kit to remove scratches from headlights and taillights. I would advise using air in a can or air compressor to remove dust and debris from gauge panel before using cleaner

Mine too. But it was my own fault. I was stoopid. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has successfully removed scratches.

I think it's easier to swap in a new one then use the novus cleaner and wipes.

I wish I had known about a product like this two weeks ago...

I finally got fed up and designed and cut a screen protector for the cluster. Hides the original scratches and makes me feel a little better I guess...

Waiting to hear back from those of you trying the scratch remover. I tried one people mentioned in a different through and safe to say it only made it worse lol.

Wouldn’t a good quality microfiber or sunglasses /camera lens cloth work to clean, scratch free?

A couple reviews on the cloth linked previously is basically a glorified paper towel

I used regular glass cleaner and a clean microfiber cloth, no issues.
The key is very light contact and feeding in more clean microfiber as you sweep across the plastic so there's no chance of scratches.

Mine was scratched to shit I live down in South Texas always heading out to the beach. Cleaned the cluster with a rag instead of using a compressor to blow the sand off and scratched it pretty bad. I work part time at my buddies body shop and he has a small hand held drill with a buffing pad I decided to put some compound on it and it surprisingly took the scratches all off except one deep one. I don't have before and after pics but I could post the tools and compound I used.
