I thought those were standard in Tacoma's. Pretty sure my dad's 95.5 had one. But I've slept since then so I can't remember. :D

They probably had different standards then. But thats just to mount a car seat. The passenger seat should have a tab to if its rated for a car seat

Child Seat Anchor. Pull the cover off and it’s a hook. Part of NHTSA safety legislation in the early 2000’s.

No. Became standard in 2001. The Tacoma didn’t have a Passenger airbag until 1998.

I'd kinda like to see a B&M gated ratchet shifter but with the Toyota handle and body cover on it. That way he can still give it hell if he goes to a manual valve body.

I still think it's funny seeing the great lengths someone went to on that little 5lug to make it look like it was a limited model

You’re better off taking it to a dustless sandblasting place that usually sprays car bodies, they’ll have better equipment than most people can get. Some of them are mobile and come to you.

You could even get it powdercoated or galvanized.

Does anyone think the Nationwide ads with Payton Manning and Braid Paisely are absolutely stupid as hell? I can’t stand them. They’re just so forced and ridiculous.

I love Geico’s caveman commercial, it goes back decades and is just generally unique and funny. Allstate with Dennis Haysbert and Dean Winters are pretty funny. State Farm’s neighbor thing has its moments.

    But Nationwide... y’all screwed up.

If you’re spending money on sandblasting the entire frame, I wouldn’t put paint on it again. I’d have it Galvanized or Powdercoated, leaning towards the former.
