I have the same 2016 TRD sport. Did you add a lift or spacers for those wheels? Hard to tell from the angle.

3/1 spacer/block lift. Saving up money to put 5100s with 887 coils with 1.5in AAL in rear.

Tires/wheels are 285/70r17 BFG k02's with Fuel vector wheels

I bought my Tacoma used last year and the upper grille (the portion that is painted black) had a few large dents in it. I told myself I’d live with it to see if it actually bothers me. It did, so I bought a black one off rock bottom auto using the dealerships manufacturer number. I was hoping the surround would be painted but it’s just abs plastic. I do like it more than the dented one but I’m wondering if I should get it painted...thoughts?

paint it. Worth the small fee you will have to pay. just make sure you uninstall it yourself and take it to them. Tear-down is expensive

Looks great, thinking about throwing some bronze on mine. Love my black TRD Sema Pros, but want to add some color. What offset you running on those? Looks like you have a slight lift?

I'm contemplating removing the side rails...I kinda like the clean look without them.

2 years rolling stock, got a flat tire a couple weeks ago... Pushed me over the edge. Finally put the lift, wheels, tires, cap, grill, and rack on. What an expensive flat haha. IMG_20190701_111737.jpg

just got my yearly registration for my old black taco, $99.50 (the minimum)
i am very curious what you guys have to pay, I vaguely recall what I had to pay out to the state when my truck was in its infancy

i am also finally doing something with my plastic drop-in liner that had never been removed in 265 months, getting a custom LineX job with stencils next week to look badass

you guys don't have to be concerned with a crusty bed! I am mildly surprised that there were only a few minor crusty spots on the rails that should sand off nicely
it was either the LineX or having a nearly $3k paint job back there
... had been piled high with snow and ice back there for many winters when left outside during snowstorm

Here in Maine we have registration and excise tax. In total, it was $1184 to get plates for my taco.

That's not bad at all. I think it will vary from state to state. I know once mine comes up, I'll be paying somewhere between $400-$500.

dang, mine was never that high other than the first time when I had sales tax due
(which was a bit less because of a trade in that I had already paid sales tax on 2yrs earlier)
I hear that CA does not give a tax break on trade-ins ... they double tax you!
