I just called and Trey was right, they are not open Sat or Sun. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I told him what I wanted done. I think I'm gonna try and take off early one day next week to drive there and have it done.

 

Let me know what day and I’ll see what I’m doing, I’m off all week but heading to the beach for the 4th

 

my used Icon Uniballs don't squeak. Given I think they had less than 10k miles on them and I've only put probably 15k at most on them

If you don't do the reroute do you want to buy my very used skid plates and I'll buy new.

They were originally for a truck that did not have the exhaust mod.

not snapped a bolt, bolt wasn't in there. The bolt goes into the truck though. Nothing to do with the skids.

So you think a gas tank skid is necessary? Don’t see too many people running them.

 

eh, i've saw scrapes on them, but not too much puncturing. I guess it's more security than anything.

 

lol, i didn't even remember how much i paid till i went looking lol. I guess 50% total would be better that way i'm not losing too much.

also no tank skids never been used.

 

And 10 gauge isn’t super thick anyway. Wouldn’t add too much weight. My plastic skid for the gas tank seems to work fine for the intended purpose though.

For real though, wasn’t bashing. I’m saying that 10 gauge is appropriate material thickness for the skids purpose. Anything more is overkill.

 

Just had someone drop by my cube and saw my truck as my background on my computer. His response was “You like to go muddin’ a lot, don’t ya?”

I might have laughed at him.
