No TSS issues to deal with....Was 2017 the best year for the taco? I think so. Change my mind..

TSS is not a problem, it only adds to the vehicle. Or not when not working. I kinda like the floor mats that don't move around in an '18. :)

2016 was a great year as well, at least for the 2TR powered crowd :proposetoast:

2017 is just a update more or less, I will let you know after 375K trouble-free miles have gone by like my 1st Gen on my Avatar had. A change in my Avatar picture will show my approval if it happens.

Yeah, you are right on that. I'm old enough to remember when anti-lock brakes came out. Same thing happened then. Some people scrambled to buy the last remaining non-anti-lock cars cause they didn't want "that new technology".

For me, I would agree with you. For others, I can see the want / need for the 2018+ .

I have a 18 and there is no issue at all. but I can agree with your opinion. As long as you got all your up to date TSB’s. The 17 IMO was the last year to keep it “simple and clean” if your planning on keeping it FOREVER passing it down for generations to come. The less tech you have the better

Well, the first crop of ABS was pretty weaksauce. It became worth it when the ABS badges finally disappeared from the trunk lids. Same with EFI. :D

I had a 2017, it gave me alot of weird engine noises and sounded like it had an exhaust leak all the time. Also overheated on a hill at a dead stop. Have a 2018 now, not a single problem.
