Adding powered sub woofer

Anyone added an amp or powered sub under seat?
Wondering best place to get power?

 

Don't most people tap straight to the battery with a dedicated cable with it's own fuse holder?

 

I was thinking of using an add a circuit, but was hoping some one knew a better way.

 

If adding an amp, then you would connect the power to the battery.

 

Add a circuit wouldn’t last long nor whatever fuse you add it too. Sub draws way too much current to do that safely.

 

Wiring directly to the battery is always best for an amp or a powered sub.

I've been thinking about adding a powered sub as well. Does anybody know how a slim one would fit under the front passenger seat?

 

The Kicker Hideaway seems to be a popular option to install under the front seats. If you get a set of seat spacers like the ones that are sold in the B/S/T sections you might be able to fit something bigger. Check out the Audio & Video forum for more info.
