Yes. This would be a better option. The recipe quoted shows cooking all together, which created a disgusting mess for me.

Few weeks back we were up at the local produce stand and picked up a watermelon called a sugar baby watermelon. It’s smaller and sweeter. Have to say it was one of the best watermelons I’ve had. Will definitely get one again.

Damn, I've been looking for a new electric smoker since I got rid of my Little Chief. I have a bunch of salmon and halibut I want to smoke but I want to get a dedicated lower temp smoker to do it.

Sugar babies are my very favorites, with moon and stars yellow meat a close second. I’m a watermelon eating fool.

    I made a sin.

    A huge mistake.

    I regret it.

When I cook steaks in the weekend and I leave them rare enough that when I reheat them in the pan during the week they’re still juicy. I usually put a little oil in the pan, wait till its bubbly, then throw the steak on there. Well today I felt like experimenting and used butter instead of oil...a nice puddle of butter...I fried my steak in butter...

It was delicious. Juicy, not chewy nor rough, but...buttery. One of the best steaks Ive ever had.

The aftermath is horrible. I caint even move. I feel like Im drowning in butter. I dont ever want to do it, yet I cant wait to make a garlic butter and cook it in there.

    Im out.

It's not really the acidity. It's specifically the bromelain (an enzyme) in the pineapple. If you microwave or cook the pineapple first, it will neutralize the bromelain and stop having that effect.

    Well...learned me something new!

Thanks for the info. Doubt I'll try that recipe again, but if I venture in to stuffing/wrapping pineapple again, I'll keep this in mind!

Mine was delivered as well. Thanks again. I’ll get a pic eventually. Trying to nap before heading back into work for a few.

I do. It is significantly larger than I thought.

No woman has ever said that to me, btw.

Ya we wanted to make sure you could fit enough Rub in it to last a little while. Those little ones you would need to refill while you’re prepping and that isn’t good. :)

Even if we turn in crappy BBQ this upcoming competition, at least our shaker game will be on point! Got the team outfit with shakers from Triple S Engraving and @Kanyon71 .

They turned out badass, not that there was any doubt.

Meat Massage and the new rub will go in these. Official name for the 'unicorn' rub is still under wraps for the time being, hence the edit on two of them. @Kanyon71 had to sign a non-disclosure agreement to do these.
