Spent too much money........my Texas registration is up the end of June, so I had to register in California. Had to get the truck weighed due to CA registration for trucks are considered commercial. WTF......one year cost me $582 fucking ridiculous!

 

Hopefully transferring back East soon................

But pickups get commercial license plates here. It’s strange but I understand the logic. SUVs get passenger car license plates

Yeah unfortunately this is the last vehicle I had to register since Texas was expiring..............held onto it as long as I could, been back in CA for 19 months. Texas was good for 2 years.

 

Bumpershellz and Did you buy direct? The TPO ones?

 

We will see..........hopefully West Virginia, still up in the air.

 

I'm aware of them, and no they are painted for now. I will buy OEM ones when I feel like the paint is not doing the job anymore.

 

Are the bead lock bolts silver or are they color match? If they are silver, I would leaver the original chrome lugs. Just my opinion. Either way it looks great.

I dont even want to know... CA increased taxes on gasoline and registration, and now the government runs in a surplus. Everyone is mad about the increased taxes, so the same people that implemented the increases launched in investigation about why the prices all went up

Just put crossbars on, now to buy things to put on them. Did do a test fit of a bike mount and it looks like it will work out well.

 

Unfortunately they are these zinc finish ones and they sent out chrome lug nuts...looks weird so getting matte black to finish it right. Thanks man!

Put her in 4 hi, trac-off, tires to 18 psi, and went on the beach at Ft. Fisher N.C.

 

got redarc on board with the build to finish up the back half electrical. gonna run a switch-pros 9100 to run the back half of the truck with a redarc charge controller, and xantrex pure sine wave inverter (until redarc brings theirs stateside) eventually adding a hot water heater/pump and maybe a arb twin air.
