1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Tried going into a 6' 8" limit parking garage tonight with my truck and the parking garage won

Luckily it was just the warning overhang that hit my lights which was moveable. Had to stop traffic behind me so I could back out haha

I now know for sure that I need 7' to clear

 

Just air down

 

I think that would irritate the traffic behind me even more

 

You really just don't need a roof rack or Baja lights

 

It's on the long list of stuff to do, but taking off the rack involves patching the holes which I'm about 65% motivated to do at this point...it's slowly becoming more of a priority

 

would you be interested in looking out for/picking up/shipping random parts you come across in the JY?

I may need a few odds and ends

Time for a prinsu rack and single row light bar

 

01-04 superdoody headlight switch is the first thing that comes to mind. I know there's more but I don't remember

I heard the hardest part about buying a prinsu is having to tell your parents you're gay

 

Fine, arb and mount the pods there

 

I don't think the Prinsu racks look very good on 1st gens....too sleek

 

They are like scaled down versions of 2nd gen racks so it looks off

 

You can just tell they were designed with 2nd gens in mind and just made to fit 1st gens as an afterthought of sorts

 

shipping is always the issue. sucks. cant find a fucking decent door anywhere near me.

 

and what really sucks is when its raining i get leaked one from the door!


also i need a 03-06 tundra standard/access cab interior fuse box from one that had power windows
