I wonder if it still has some X-Runner blood in it.

I won’t work on something complicated unless I’m at least 3 drinks in, that way I have plausible deniability when things go terribly wrong.

    Mechanic: “What idiot did this?”
Me: I did, but I was 5 drinks in by that time.

Also you need to double the 3 drink rule if you’re working on a boat!

Very possible. Well maintained forest road with good views. Have seen cars up there before. You should be fine. Have fun!

Take a look at my awful video I took two weeks ago at Horsepasture (I promise I am not flying down it, it is sped up 3x). It uploaded off centered for some reason but I haven't gotten a chance to correct it.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REj0YI-lvWY&t=3s

The road is incredibly easy. A prius could do it right now. But it has beautiful views and good campsites. The road is currently closed right after Jumping Off Rock (you can see where I stopped in the video there). Make sure you get out at Jumping Off Rock and take in the view - it is absolutely gorgeous!

The main road is open most of the way year round. Off shoots and such are seasonal.

Nice. I'll have to check the main road out sometime when I go back to Clemson in the fall.

Those of you with the M&P shield, any pros / cons. first version, or the 2.0. I have read the 2.0 may have a better trigger, but is the original one bad? pondering one in 9, no safety. PSA have on special; for 249, but no free shipping, + FFl transfer for us out of state guys puts it at ~300 or so. +/-

No issues carry every day. Never had a malfunction in hundreds of rounds. Nice shooter. M&P 9mm "1.0" w/safety

I have the 2.0 and an a big fan. I did not own the 1.0 but I did shoot it.

2.0 trigger is improved. Carry weight and size is great. Grip texture is pretty aggressive but I view it as a good thing.

Definitely would recommend. I got my 2.0 right when they came out for about $319 with transfer.
