Found a spot to see how the Missing Links flex, they did pretty well. I think I will make some for the rear too.

when driving on road you're suppose to put a bolt to lock the missing link setup.

yeah I just meant on the trails. I always wondered how that small of a vehicle felt, as if it's just going to tip over all the time?

It don't, mine has Toyota and FJ axles, the stance is as wide as your truck and a lower center of gravity.

awesome, do you like the shorter wheel base on the trails? I think it'll be interesting to spot you this weekend.

I have wheeled it a few times but have not really even thought about the shorter wheel base. It will be helpful in the tight spots.

yeah I remember watching just the difference in Brian and Dave's Tacomas in Moab on Poison Spider and whatnot....sometimes Dave's short base was the best, sometimes Brian's long base was the best.

It’s a lot different following him in it, lol. Used to following him in his Tacoma with the same-ish wheelbase that I have. He can make turns and take lines that I can’t, and I didn’t think of that at the start of our last ride.

haha facts! Heck it was interesting just that one trip to chocco when a 4runner was with us, spotting him was different than a Tacoma.

I like learning what the vehicle does and the lines they can hit. I'm as excited to watch the Zuk as I am to wheel lol

That is the idea, I drove it for a while yesterday on and off road and didn't feel a difference with it from the previous setup. I talked to a few people last night, they said they never use the pins. I think I will use them on the highway for piece of mind.lol

it only comes into play when you need emergency swerving. If you drive a samurai like a samurai is meant to be driven I guess it will never matter though. :turtleride:
