    Hello Everyone!

I am grateful that there is such a place for folks with Tacomas to meet and discuss issues. So, let me get right to it...

My Dad (87 on Sunday) has a 1994 Tacoma long-bed, two-wheel drive. We were having some vibration in the steering wheel - a left-to-right motion - that became steady after the truck heated up from driving. We took it into the dealer and they said the left caliper needed replacing, along with pads, rotor, and line, etc. Picked up the truck two days later and my Dad was driving on a back road to the dump when the right front wheel seized. We were lucky to be going fairly slowly at the time and the vehicle just headed for the right shoulder of the road. The dealership now says that the right caliper seized. My question for the Tacoma World Faithful is this: "Has anyone experienced a situation, or know of other(s) who have experienced a similar situation with the caliper seizing mid-drive like this?" We really want to know if this is a Tacoma issue or a caliper issue or a dealership issue. Any thoughts/contributions would help tremendously! My Dad is really quite shaken by the experience, especially since it could have resulted in serious injury or worse. Thanks for anything you might be able to offer to help us out.
