The cost to build a die or jig, the cost of materials (especially with the tariffs), cost of labor, etc. Lot of overhead goes into pricing.

Read something about that in the past. I have no need because mine came with the factory plastic skid plate so there for has the bolts already (no not using the factory plastic skid anymore).

Just was shocked at what they were charging for them.

Those aren't made. Those are actual Toyota straps (looks like Toyota part number tags). You can email RCI and ask if that is the case.

(made an appointment for my truck)
Asked a friend if I could wash my truck at her house on Sunday, I live in an apartment and it would be difficult to wash the truck here.
I have microfiber wash mitts arriving tomorrow. Have all the other supplies on hand.

Yes I am aware they are Toyota straps.
Toyota does make them (or more precisely one of their suppliers most likely) and i doubt it costs anywhere near 150 to make.

I don't need them since my truck came with them already but thanks for posting part numbers.

I thought you said RCI made them. :anonymous:

I didn't feel like modding the ones I had so I bought them and it cost me about $115.

Use an angle grinder and cut a phillips head into the top

Cut notches in the sides to give leverage points

Shape the sides into a hex head

Weld a nut onto them and use a socket

I ordered a pair of caliraised ditch light brackets and moved my rigid spots to them and will be putting old piaa 510s on my bush bar... As soon as the paints dry.
