Machine Gun Mount for Bed

I see pictures and videos of small Toyota truck in the middle east, with 50cal and 20mm machine guns mounted to the bed. Where do I get one?

If you find a source for one, let me challenge you to mount that here in the United States and see what reaction you get from people.

My buddy rolls around with a M2 mounted on his jeep, its a replica.

However the legality of doing this with a real firearm in America changes depending on a few things.
Are you on public or private property?
Does your state hate America, the Constitution, and guns?
Is it loaded?
Is it a machine gun? Do you have the proper stamps if it is?
etc etc etc
So you can, but it depends on a few things.

 

There's a couple guys here running M1919s and one M2 here on their old jeeps.

 

I would be willing to just put on the mount, no gun. Most people are to stupid to figure out what it's for.

 

The technicals are custom mounts. However, you could modify a “5th wheel“ mount.

 

A specific machinegun would probably have an available swivel mount. You would probably then have to fabricate a mount for the lower/stationary part of the swivel. Just a guess.

 

I've seen a few guys with the stand-up tripod mounts for machine guns. Could always weld it into the bed and keep the pintle and machinegun off until fun time.

 

Why not just buy a M35A1 Duece and half with a ring mounted Ma Duece . Or Modified M35A1 Gun Truck

You can buy an LMTV and some of them still have functional turret rings. It would make a pretty badass rock crawler

Hell, I may find an swivel mount at a surplus store and see if I can fab something to mount to the bed just for kicks. What do you want to mount on it?
