Defrost mirrors, compass/temp display rear view mirror, rear wiper on camper shell, trans.cooler.
I just bought and installed these from Amazon.
AWESOME!!! $43.74 For the pair & Free shipping.

Prime Choice Auto Parts Headlight Pair (looks like the part number has expired, so I removed it.
I did find the mounts to be loose. I switched my ball & socket over to the new ones.

Has no one used the toothpaste method to bring back old head lights?

I've done it, and it works great.

Has anyone tried buying a set of aftermarket for the clear lenses and swapped them onto the their old housings to maintain the better reflector?

I replaced mine with OEM and then got the Weathertech lense protectors and put those on. I doubt they'll ever fade again and the won't get pitted with rocks either.

Was thinking this also, just buy a really cheap pair and only use the lenses.

Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
I recently bought the same TYC headlights.
    TYC 20607300
    TYC 20607400
from Rockauto (the CAPA certified for $ 40.79). The cutoff is pretty good (a clear cutoff line with not much light going above that line) although the pattern is splotchy. When driving down the road, you can see bright and dark patterns on the road. They still light up the road well, but not nearly as uniform as OEM. I kept up on my original lights with Mother's PowerPlastic 4Lights and they looked very clear compared to the average 1st gen Tacoma I see driving around. However compare them to a set of new light housings and you can't miss the difference. New look crystal clear.

I originally got a pair of these headlights https://www.ebay.com/itm/200544105463?ViewItem=&item=200544105463 when I ordered this grill/corner light/ headlight set off Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-Toyota...-Park-Light-5Pcs/170668031919?epid=1462093980 I only wanted the corners and grill, but the combo gave me headlights at about the same price as just corner and grill. Those no-name headlights had a pretty good cutoff line too although they were splotchy also. The worst part of the no-name was the quality of the mounting. There are two plastic pieces that swivel some and mount on the metal wall. The no-name was very loose and after it was mounted you could push at the top or bottom of the light and it would swivel up and down a few mm. The TYC CAPA are rock solid like the OEM. I wanted to get OEM, but even at discount places the total for the two OEM headlights was going to be about $350. Ball joints I'll pay for OEM, but I couldn't quite cough up that much more for the headlights.

    Matt

How was the fit with the grill and corner lights?

I guess its a good thing I still have the sealed beam candles on mine. No worry of them getting glazed.
