Very interesting take, and I tend to agree. It certainly does make you much more aware and involved with the process of driving. The stats are interesting too, only 20% of Americans actually posses the ability to drive one. Where did that begin to taper off?

I know I don't feel the need to be anywhere near as active when I'm behind the wheel of the cruiser but the Taco and Z kept me on my feet and I'm sure I glanced at the phone a lot less.

You dont need to remove a shell to fit a engine and trans in the back. Do you?

 

only a tonneau would get in the way, shell is plenty tall enough for an engine and trans

 

I think the I 40 ends in Barstow which is a couple hours east of me, but ya relative to the miles that separate you and I That's not very much lol

Why bring a hoist? Just toss it on a pallet then we slide it into the back of my truck.
