Lately my EDC has been the most basic 1911 I own....Springfield Mil Spec.

The gun deserves some new grips....simply put this set on...hey they were in the box, figured I'd give 'em a test run.

Gun is well built and zero complaints from me. Accuracy is great and it feeds like a hungry Rottweiler.

Even with my big hands and the high grip I take there have been no issues with hammer bite.

I'm thinking that the only two things I'll do to this one is install a longer trigger and put some new grips on it. If the funds become available I may have the front strap checkered, too. The whole gun will be bead blasted at that time, too.

On days when I'm doing yard work, car washing and such I'll slide this P938 in the pocket of my gym shorts.

Great shooting gun that fights way above it's weight class.

    Sometimes a officer 1911.
When backpacking a full size 1911 I machined myself and hand fitted all components (Wilson combat).
    Sometimes my Glock 20.

About 10 years ago I carried a Glock 30. Feels like appendix carrying a small Brick.

    Nothing fancy or expensive here.

    Gshock 5146 w/slip on compass
    Sig P365
    Kershaw 8700 BLK knife
    Dot Dash shades
    Cheapo AE wallet
    Coast HX5 flashlight
    Samsung S9

Bottle opener and watch compass have probably been the most useful.

Not bad for a smaller, cheaper knife. Stays pretty sharp too.
