Last company I worked for was headquartered in Chicago so I had to go there 1-2 times a month. I don’t miss that... im glad I was traveling for business because doing anything downtown sure is painful on the wallet

I've worked up there some. It's cool for a while but gets old.

I'm 30 minutes from Kentucky so it's a completely different world than what people imagine IL being hahah

i have a very interesting story when I was around that area near Ohio River on the way to Memphis in July with no A/C (having been previously stuck in St Louis for the first time in rush hour traffic)

MUCH different down there for sure. Some people love the city life, I’m not one of them. Traffic and crowds of people do not bring me joy.

Kinda like when people tell me they go camping with their 40’ goose neck. Really? You mean you go park by a bunch of other people for $50+ a night m? No thanks. I’ll take the middle of the forest by myself with no cell coverage for free.

Check under the truck for play at the U-joints on the drive shaft before tearing into the brake system.

    And welcome to TacomaWorld.

Recommend Point Sublime at the North Rim. Easy 4wd trail, overnite is officially forbidden, I think, but lots of campfire evidence. Anyway easy with a RTT. Sunrise there should be world class. You get a 270 degree view. I visited mid day, never made it back since, but plan to for sunrise.

have not yet hit the southside of Chicago, might need some backup on that one...
or cop parlance terms ... got your six

any of you guys hit the Ferguson streets when all that crap was going down?

When we first got here I drove a cab to check out the city. I spent time in all the east side shitholes. East St. Louis, alorton, Brooklyn, Cahokia, sauget, Washington park, and on and on. Seen all sorts of crazy shit and drove right past it. Had a crackhead try to rob me by standing in front of the car, slowed down and ran him over. Took his pistol - Lorkin .25 auto - and finished my run with the fare laughing her ass off the whole way. Allot of sketchy people but allot of regular folks that are sick of the bullshit but feel that they are, or actually are trapped in those areas.

Act scared and become a victim, handle your business and stay alert and you’ll have no worries. look for trouble, you’ll find it.

Edit: And I'm not done with the instructions part yet

Its just three wires right to add plus the factory positive? Positive to the alternator, negative to shakalaka part under the truck, negative to the side, and most importantly could not stress how critical it is, dont cut your factory positive but connect it back with the positive. Voila! :hattip:
