CB sucks. People use it because it's easily accessible and most common. GMRS/FRS is awesome if you're in close proximity. If you don't want to deal with testing for a HAM license (I'm gonna test for mine in a couple weeks) then the GMRS license is a simple $75 fee that's good for 5 years. No test. Just gotta be registered and it covers everyone in your family

 

It's kinda late there's only 1 day before this run and trying to.get more people to show up last min would set everything behind

I'm down lol. I'll be last vehicle so I can recover and my radios are pretty much dialed-in.

Honestly there's no reason to run CB anymore. Enough people run GMRS in our groups that there's not really a reason to run CB unless you run with guys that only have CB. I run both because some guys don't have gmrs on random groups I go on.

Also, my GMRS license is good for 10 years and it covers my entire immediate household.

You got to mow in the morning, as soon as the humidity drops to 90%! Still taking me two hours with water breaks, and the grass isn't as dry as I want. But wait until the afternoon? We got 1.27" in a half hour. I wore most of it on my second trip to the store for painting stuff....
