Be careful with good runs. I blew up my tweets in a week. Guess 100watts max wasnt just a suggestion.

Yeah I am very careful about staying within proper RMS ranges between my amps and my speakers/ subs. I also like to ensure that the amp is capable of supporting maximum RMS ranges of them, and for whatever reason if I cannot get the proper amp to support it I make sure it is tuned properly, as most speakers have a range wattage they can play within like for example RF T-series speakers @ 4 ohms can be played safely between 10-70 watts. Just don't run under or over exceed those values.

I installed sound deadening matting in my entire cab. Floor, firewall, doors, ceiling, back wall, the lot. It made the inside of my truck super quiet.... at least until I cut everything out of my exhaust and put headers in.

So what is everyone running and suggesting for deadening? I'd like to keep it relatively low priced and I know Dynamat is one of the more expensive options, which I personally feel is incredibly overpriced. Very important to me is the seat back of the cab area, the roof, then the doors, or the floors in that order.

So about a month ago, my supercharger started getting louder. Sent it to an authorized magnuson service place, was told my housing bearing was going bad and replacing all the basic stuff. Well, it's back at it again. Sounds like it's my rotors. When taking it apart, no signs of wear or loos parts. Any idea? When idling in park, you can hear it, but as soon as I put it into drive, the "clapping" sound gets louder. Any ideas? Gonna follow up with the service placed but figured I would ask you guys.

Take a video of it and post it. I would like to hear it up close and from a distance as well. Have someone put it in drive and hold the brake while it is in drive. No revving.

Wow you guys have some nice audio setups. I’m precious about my storage space so I’ve just got the Stealthbox in back, and some good speakers / amps / sound deadening up front.

I settled on Raamat from http://www.raamaudio.com/

Mat on the sheet metal, and ensolite on top of that.

    Pricing is reasonable, too.

Noiko makes a product that I was very happy with. 40 bucks for almost 40 sq ft.

Stinger has a line of products that is pretty good quality and is what I use. Best time to buy is during an eBay 20% off sale.

Second noico. I also used dynamat previously. Made a world of a difference in noise. That is until I made it all noisy again with boost, CaI and exhaust shenanigans. Lol.

Phew.. those are plenty suggestions, all incredibly helpful, now I can move forward with removing my old setup and running new liner before I start installing the new stuff. Thank you guys!

Question @loginfailed who made your sail panel tweeters for you? I would love to do a sail panel relocate.
