Stihl has a low and a high idle screw. Low idle has a white stop clip on it and high has a red stop clip. If it idles fine but hasn't got top end you want to lean it out a bit by turning high idle in a touch till it's where it sounds right. Don't turn way in or it will wipe out the rings on exhaust side of the piston. If it runs good high idle and won't run well at low idle turn the White or low idle in a touch till it will idle fine and has decent throttle response.
Most of the time it's a little of both for high altitude and will be on the edge of blowing up in the valley. It's how mine are all set.

There is also a way to pop those clips off if you can't get it right.
You cans see a notch on the carb where the plastic stops line up to and the needle nose or an o ring pick and pop they go. Super simple

Nope! But I did just use my FasTrak for the first time today (had an appointment down at Stanford Med Center). Funny thing is that when I read that you could purchase it and receive it immediately from Costco, I said “Damn! I missed out!” I could have received $5 extra is tolls!

Wow! That is amazing; I grew up in Northern California but am still continually awestruck by the beauty of the place. I *definitely* need to get out more. :annoyed:
